  We chose Immaculate Conception Church in Lihue for our destination wedding. We chose it based on pictures we saw online, which were very beautiful, and when we saw the church in person it was even more beautiful! The church is decorated with fresh flowers once a week. We did not feel the need to add any additional flowers or decorations for our wedding, which helped to keep costs down. It is also worth mentioning that even at mid-day the church did not get too hot. Planning the wedding from afar was very easy as we worked with Deacon Dave. He was very laid back. We attended mass at ICC prior to our wedding, and we were completely embraced by members of the parish! It was comforting to feel like a part of the church family even though we were far from home.
